PVS Contractors is proud to announce our staffs’ recent successes at the 2018 Ontario Region Common Ground Alliance Association (ORCGA) Utility Locate Rodeo and Excavator Challenge in Barrie, ON. Our team recently competed at the rodeo resulting in an excellent showing of locating quality and workmanship with several top three finishes.
The ORCGA Utility Locate Rodeo is the only one of its kind in Canada. This challenging and prestigious event happens annually and provides a stage to highlight the locating profession. The rodeo allows professionals to demonstrate the safety, skills and continual educational efforts that are needed to excel in their line of work through friendly competitions in the divisions of telecommunication, gas, water, power and ‘Locate from Hell’. Within these divisions, PVS’ competitors John Sweeting finished first, and Joe Gigliotti, Fahad Ibrahim and Shannon Robertson came in third.
